I am currently a junior at Georgia Southern University where I am majoring in Early Childhood Education. This semester I am in the curriculum section of the program where we are to complete 20 hours of observation in the school we have been assigned . I have just found out that I have been placed at Stilson Elementary School in Mrs. Langes 3rd grade classroom and I am very excited about observing this grade level.

Yes I was relieved when I found out I was at Screven Elementary School again. I am in a second grade classroom right now, but I still miss the third graders I had last semester! I think I would like to teach third grade over second but it may be because I do not get to spend as much time with them this semester as I did last. I hope you enjoy your time at Stilson Elementary!
ReplyDeleteHey Sara! I hope things are going well for you in your third grade class this semester! I am also in a third grade class at Mattie Lively. I guess third grade is a grade you might be thinking about teaching? I am enjoying them. I like third grade because it is a little bit of a challenge and I didn't realize how much it was untill this semseter. Good luck with the semester! see you in class!
ReplyDeleteI was placed at Stilson last semster for curriculum in a fifth grade classroom. That is a small but great school! Everyone there is very nice and helpful. I hope you are enjoying it there! Good luck! :)
ReplyDeleteI have never observed or been assigned to a 3rd grade class. I'm sure it would be more of a challenge. I have been giving it much thought though. I have not decided on a grade that I am passionate about teaching yet. I hope you have a great semester there.
